Antenna Company Awarded Technology Innovation Award by Frost & Sullivan

Frost & Sullivan presented Antenna Company with its Technology Innovation Award for Advanced Antennas for Wireless Communications.
Frost & Sullivan noted that the rollout of new wireless standards is driving an increase in the number of multi-band antennas per system, while product form factors continue to shrink. The analyst firm concluded that these trends require a new approach in antenna technology to deliver the best performance and end-user experience.

Antenna Company appoints new CEO and expands supervisory board

The Antenna Company International, the company that has redefined the field of antennas through the power of SuperShape® antenna technology, today announced that its board of directors has appointed David Favreau, 54, as new CEO, effective immediately. Joep van Beurden and Edward Krubasik join the board as non-executive members.

“The board is thrilled to have selected David as CEO and is as optimistic as ever regarding Antenna Company’s future,” said Roel Pieper, former CEO of the company, now becoming chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Antenna Company has announced that Underwriters Laboratory has tested and certified a line of high performance SuperShape® Access Point antennas

The UL certification proves that our Access Point antennas and their accessories pass the most stringent security tests for fire, smoke and heat hazards, and therefore testifies to the safety of the special materials and manufacturing methods of our antennas’, said Roel Pieper, Antenna Company’s CEO. ‘This important milestone is particularly significant as it is the first antenna using our unique SuperShape® approach to be certified. Our antennas are now proven to meet the strictest safety standards as demanded by our Customers and their Contract Manufacturing partners. We are now shipping and ramping up rapidly for volume deployments.’
