The Antenna Company offers custom antenna design services and rapid in-house prototyping services for customers who have needs that cannot be met by our range of standard antenna products.

 

Our antenna design engineers have extensive experience designing custom antennas systems for Enterprise MIMO, 5G/Consumer, Smart Energy, and IoT applications such as Asset Tracking and  Wearables.  Our design capability and antenna library spans frequency range from 410 MHz to 39 GHz.

At Antenna Company, we understand that technical support services such as Impedance matching network design/optimization, Passive OTA measurements and Gerber file reviews are critical services to assure successful integration and product certification of our embedded antenna solutions in your device.

Gerber File Review Services

Many problems that arise during product certification or even earlier in the design cycle can be avoided by ensuring fundamental RF design rules are observed for correct 50 Ohm microstrip transmission line widths, PCB layer stack ups and ground plane clearance for embedded antenna “keep out areas”. To help avoid layout problems further down the development process, The Antenna Company offers Gerber file reviews for designs using our embedded antennas.

Impedance Matching Network Design Services

Embedded surface mount (SMT) and flexible off board mount antennas can be de-tuned by your device’s dielectric housing and available ground plane size of your devices host RF circuit board. If you need support to design and optimize the T or PI Impedance Matching Network (IMN) our technical support staff can help. 

Passive OTA Measurement Services

Prior to sending your device for PTCRB (PCS Type Certification Review Board), Wireless Carrier Certification, or other regulatory body certifications, it can often save time and money to have the antenna’s performance such as; radiation pattern, gain and efficiency characterized in your device.

CAD Design Simulation Services
Prior to fabricating your circuit board it can be helpful to simulate the expected RF performance, this is especially important for custom design/solutions. The Antenna Company routinely provides its customers with detailed CAD simulation reports using CST™ Microwave Studio for its custom antenna systems that provide insights into; VSWR, isolation, gain patterns, efficiency etc.
